Those sure are some nicely designed and pre-printed counter protest signs... Let me guess, the strippers made and paid for them out of the goodness of their hearts?

I have nothing against strip clubs or strippers, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the venue was behind the counter protest, not the ladies themselves.

With my broad grasp (not to be confused with a wide stance) of Spanish I'm comprendoing from one of those signs that the Devil doesn't have a house in Sellwood. Which seems like a shame, a bungalow not far from Oaks Park and close to that huge mausoleum might suit Old Scratch nicely.

Rangehunter: I am one of the ladies of Casa Diablo. FYI All of us chose to be there of our own free will. The venue didn't even have to ask, we all volunteered. We did this not only because we love it there, but we were also standing up for ourselves. The SOS protestors were not only coming down on strip clubs but on the strippers as well. Many of the girls at Casa Diablo have a college education, are in college, or have chosen a different route for their life. Whichever the case may be, all the girls have chosen to be there and they are all adults making decisions that best fit their lives.
