"This is not a statement intended for public release..." Just sayin'.
2
SHOULD THE POLICE NOT RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION FROM THE MEDIA? I'M PRETTY SURE THAT THEY SHOULD.
3
Debunking? You guys posted a picture of the urine streams!
4
Occupy is perfectly fine with breaking city camping and loitering laws. Not sure why they're so sensitive about the other violations.
5
Not to mention that, when you're staging a publicity stunt (which is what it has become at this point), you can't really complain about said publicity, negative or otherwise.
6
Oh, that awful right-wing media here doesn't give these poor protesters an even break.
7
This actually just makes me feel pretty bad for actual protesters. The place has become a magnet for junkies, the mentally ill, and gutter punks. One or two people do the same thing they'd do five blocks over in Pioneer Square, and suddenly it's, "newsworthy." If the police really want to be politically neutral, they should simply do a "downtown report." Then journalists can do their job and actually comb through information actually in context. I have mixed feelings about OccupyPortland but I guarantee a Friday night outside Dirty Lounge involves a whole lot more anarchy.
8
This whole thing has turned into a fucking joke.
9
@Reymont: Alex was debunking poop. Debunking urine, in any case, would technically be peebunking.
10
The perfect metaphor is unfolding, if I may point out, for those of you who REFUSE TO SEE IT.

The far left exemplifies taking no responsibility, offering no solutions, and childishly insisting someone else pay for their whims.
11
@D:
What solutions to anything have you offered, ever? Hypocrite.
12
And the "far left" offers quite a few ideas for how to get out of our current situation, but you don't know that because you're a pithy-sentence-generator that doesn't have the slightest idea what's going on. Easy to ignore the substance of a political discussion while you're busy focusing on stereotypes and haughty sound-bites.
13
Stop destroying the class of people that work by producing, roll back regulations and penalties (like they ignore for the OWS crowd), allow Americans to be free to do what they want to do without government interference, harassment and INEQUAL, selective treatment of protected classes ... for a start.
14
Where are your solutions 'Geyser'?
15
@Geyser - Or do you demand MORE government control, which has seemed to work out as things have so far?
16
Yep. The right-wing numb-nuts are all over this one too, like stink on shit.
17
Well, I wasn't the one who offered that criticism in the first place, but OK: I don't think government is the ultimate solution on the whole but yes, I would demand more government control over how corporations operate. It's the obvious lesson from things like Enron, the BP oil spill, the bank mergers that led to the creation of "too big to fail" enterprises that were allowed to gamble our collective wealth on highly risky and unsustainable speculation... I could name dozens of other examples.
18
Anarchists for higher taxes!
19
There's no such thing as "Anarchists for higher taxes!"

Nice attempt at trolling, though.

Please wait...
