Ok, kids. It's been fun and all, but the potholes I bike and drive over aren't going to fix themselves, and are only going to get worse when the cops are getting 200K in overtime to police your little campground.
"...rational economic lessons"? Who writes this stuff! C'mon - idealistic, utopian and flat-out unsustainable "wish lists" of gimmes, handouts and freebies is what these "protestors" espouse; nothing 'rational' - well, maybe ending corporate personhood is rational - but that's about it. Sheesh.
Anyone who thinks that Occupy Portland in any way resembles a political action clearly has not been there. It has become a delapidated Hooverville where junkies and dunkies can go to use buy and sell with inpunity. If they had any ounce of integrity left they would publicly disasociate themselves from the Occupy movement so the movement doesnt have to suffer any more black eyes from so called Occupy Portland.
