Please don't. We finally got a competent police chief. He wouldn't win anyway, the crime problem wasn't/isn't bad enough to carry a candidate who "cleaned up our streets" or whatever. This election will be Smith vs. Brady.

sorry, but being top cop for a year or so and playing in a rock band with Randy Leonard doesn't necessarily qualify you for mayor. if this is real, Reese needs to announce his intentions and make some clear policy statements. I will remain, however, highly dubious that a background in law enforcement qualifies one for political office.
