Recaps for Poor People: Community is Crazy, and Parks and Recreation Makes Me Sad

Community will be missed A LOT, BY ME, and I think that was just a Dragonball Z parody but it was funny. And Parks and Rec, my favorite show on TV, is struggling with some plotting/pacing issues this year. I agree. Drag it out a little. Let the characters breathe.

Yes. Parks and Rec seems like they're dialing back on the other characters. Which probably makes a little bit of sense. For awhile it was looking like Ron could potentially be a break-out character and have his own show (probably still could).

I'd say they can get rid of Ann Perkins. But her entire existance is justified by Chris (swoon) calling her by her name and Leslie telling her she's too pretty to understand something. Though she did almost ruin the Muppet movie.

I'd like to see more Ron Swanson and Chris Traeger (sp?). They've been underused this season.

@Fruit Cup. I like Ann. I think she could be more fun. The writers never really know what to do with her except have her listen to Leslie. She became interesting with Chris, but again, the writers blew too fast through that storyline.

@ Jacob: I was worried earlier in the season that Chris Traeger and Jean Ralphio were overused and gimmicky. Now they are not used enough. P&R writers are smart and awesome but need to work on the balance!

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ACTOR'S NAME IS, BUT WHEN PARTY DOWN BECAME ABOUT HIS LOVE INTERESTS, THE SHOW SUCKED. AS PARKS AND REC BECOMES ABOUT HIS LOVE INTEREST, IT GOES DOWNHILL.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN? WHEN "THAT DUDE WHO WAS ON PARTY DOWN AND IS NOW ON PARKS AND REC" FALLS IN LOVE, THE WORLD BECOMES BORING. SO THE THING TO DO OBVIOUSLY IS TO KILL THAT CHARACTER. OR MAIM HIM OR SOME SHIT.

IN EXCITING NEWS, I SOMEHOW WAS ABLE TO CONVINCE MY GIRLFRIEND THAT BURN NOTICE IS A SHOW WORTH WATCHING!!

I'VE BEEN REALLY REALLY HAPPY WITH THE INCREASED NUMBER OF TV SHOWS ON NETFLIX WATCH INSTANTLY. ESPECIALLY THE FACT THEY'VE FINALLY STARTED LISTING SHOWS BY SEASON!!!

Sorry Graham, I'm going to overrule you on Benjamin Wyatt. His handsomeness factor is too high to never see him in a romantic relationship.

So finally got to watching P&R on Hulu this morning. I agree completely w/ #1, except for the part about missing Community.

SLOW YOUR ROLL, P&R writers.
