Thank you for turning me on to this show, Steve!

BEST SHOW IN AMERICA

If Jessica Lange doesn't get an Emmy for her work on this show, well, actually I wouldn't be surprised, because awards shows never seem to reward the best work. Anyway, she's been great on this show all season, but this week she was freaking amazing (I know I said the same thing yesterday, but other commenters post the same thing over and over again [*cough* frankieb], so why shouldn't I?). The scene of her being interrogated by the police intercut with flashbacks of her murdering and burying her husband and the maid years ago was one of the best things I've ever seen in a tv drama.

My other favorite part that that Steve didn't mention was the ghosts of Larry's family showing up. The daughters' tea party with Travis was the perfect blend of unnerving and sweet.

Despite everyone ruining the surprise of Violet being dead last week, I thought the scenes of her trying to escape the house and later seeing her own corpse were great.

Although I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season, there is one nit-picky problem I had with last night's show: why didn't Ben hear the exterminator scream or notice the exterminator never came out of the crawlspace? On the plus side, there's now an exterminator ghost trapped in the house, so no on who lives in the house will ever have to worry about bugs again.

There are only two more episodes this season. I am not happy about this at all.

Please wait...
