i love the dead soul vibe as they walk through a wal-mart parking lot. At first, i thought this was a fail, until i realized that Vantucky is a fail, & that is the point. So, YES! ( & i have lived in this hell, so...)
@1 yeah, the one that has like a statue of a leaping salmon or something in front of it now. my dad is still on a first name basis with the people who work the drive through window.
Funny....in the fact they look like half the nerds in Portland(ok, the actress is cute)....the piece itself...really unfunny other than its appeal to insecure Portland residents
I disagree that this is only funny to insecure Portland residents. I'm pretty secure in my belief that Vancouver is full of tax-dodgers and people that want to replace the I-5 bridge with a bigger one and have Portland pay for it.
Blabby, they buy their stuff here (no sales tax), and live there (lower property tax). It's perfectly understandable and reasonable tax dodging, but it's still tax dodging.
@13 and 16....clearly they are the devil! Despite the fact that they really arent any different from you in any significant way. Humans.....that experiment failed
I don't know what Portlanders have to be insecure about. This is a pretty cool town. Cranky Vancouvrians need to learn how to take a joke. Calling us insecure kinda highlights your own insecurities. After all, most Portlanders I know find Portlandia pretty amusing.
Also, those two are way too young and attractive to play Fred and Carrie.
However, there are some small business people who move to Washington with their biz before selling it for tax reasons.
