OMIGOD! I can't believe you commenters neglected to mention Wham's "Last Christmas"! What are you? Drunk? High? Both??? Unbelievable. I don't know why I read this stupid blog!!
One of my most cherished Christmas memories is doing a karaoke rendition of Fairytale of New York with a very drunk British woman in front of a crowd of equally drunk and also somewhat bewildered Japanese people. It was magical and festive.
He's a crank all right. Perhaps his tiny, black heart needs Blogtown to gather beneath his office window in Old Town, clasp hands and sings this to him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKagQWqr87Q

I also really like Anton Barbeau's "Xmas Song":

Steve will probably hate both of them, because they're so Beatley.
Anyway, enough X-Mas. BRING ON THE AMERICAN HORROR STORY CHITTY-CHAT CLUB!
That is all.
More importantly: If you don't vote for Fairytale of New York, you're wrong.
"Fat Christmas" by Thinking Fellers' Union Local 282
and the entire "Winter Wonderland" ep by The Coctails.
Best Christmas movie? 'The Lion In Winter'!
that is all

Think someone already mentioned it but Xmas Card From a Hooker in Minneapolis is genius.
Also, I've always liked the fake Tom Waits/Peter Murphy song and wished it were real.
