My favorite X-Mas song is "Christmas in Suburbia" by Martin Newell, with Andy Partridge from XTC:

I also really like Anton Barbeau's "Xmas Song":

Steve will probably hate both of them, because they're so Beatley.

Anyway, enough X-Mas. BRING ON THE AMERICAN HORROR STORY CHITTY-CHAT CLUB!

OMIGOD! I can't believe you commenters neglected to mention Wham's "Last Christmas"! What are you? Drunk? High? Both??? Unbelievable. I don't know why I read this stupid blog!!
3
Father Xmas. Kinks.

That is all.
4
I'm slightly, but pleasantly, surprised that nobody is campaigning for "the night santa went crazy" by Weird Al.

More importantly: If you don't vote for Fairytale of New York, you're wrong.
5
What, no "Enter Santa" by Metallica?
6
@TSW What? You didn't mention that earlier WHEN YOU HAD A CHANCE? You commenters are the WORST.
7
"Santa's Beard" by They Might Be Giants, or the aforementioned "There's A Star Above the Manger Tonight" by Red Red Meat.
8
Just popping in to agree with TSW. Please do not verbally abuse me,Steve,
9
Well, for that matter:
"Fat Christmas" by Thinking Fellers' Union Local 282
and the entire "Winter Wonderland" ep by The Coctails.

Best Christmas movie? 'The Lion In Winter'!
10
None of you commentors mentioned the Waitresses' "Christmas Wrapping"?? UGGGGGGHHH you guys.
11
A week or two I mentioned "Up on the House Top" by the Jackson Five, but no one took the hint. Fred Meyer has been known to torment shoppers with it.
12
One of my most cherished Christmas memories is doing a karaoke rendition of Fairytale of New York with a very drunk British woman in front of a crowd of equally drunk and also somewhat bewildered Japanese people. It was magical and festive.
13
I LIKE THE NEW VERBALLY ABUSIVE STEVE. THIS PALCE IS TOO NICE.
14
Oh yeah, that Waitresses song is pretty great.
15
Yes Steve. Please continue the high quality verbal lashings of these idiotic commenters! It's very fun! Unleash thine inner Cassano!
16
Fear - Fuck Christmas

that is all

He's a crank all right. Perhaps his tiny, black heart needs Blogtown to gather beneath his office window in Old Town, clasp hands and sings this to him:

That Waitresses song is great.

Think someone already mentioned it but Xmas Card From a Hooker in Minneapolis is genius.

Also, I've always liked the fake Tom Waits/Peter Murphy song and wished it were real.

Still gotta go with Beach Boys "Little Saint Nick".

TSW +!
21
"Christmas With the Devil", Spinal Tap.

Please wait...
