Doesn't conventionally understood race go right out the window when the main character's best friend has teal skin? Doug is definitely white, though. We know that much.

Also: I recently saw put forth the thesis that the Backyardigans are people of color. They look like they were created to take up space on boxes of store-brand kids' cereals, but their names are Pablo, Tasha, Tyrone, and Uniqua.

Roger Klotz, the school bully was intended to be latin but then they gave him a name like Klotz, suggesting a German ancestry (and possibly self loathing?) The girl in this comic who refuses to accept my ideas of Patty's biracial cultural heritage professed her love for Roger and often refers to him as her 'boyfriend'.
Bebe and Skeeter were supposed to be kinds of races too. I've been noticing a propensity for hispanic cereal box children to be in wheelchairs. It was the case in the diverse ghostbusters cartoon show too.
