Puerto Ricans should all still learn English in order to avoid having to use this technology to translate language of the ghetto --> language of prosperity. That software is being created to make things easier for English speakers, obviously. And anyway, 'Ricans, don't get your hopes up too high about being an actual state, okay?

And if they do release it, the UI will be so fucking terrible that no one will want to use it.

@2, more like "wet blanket."
Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. I picked up a new Windows phone a short time ago and had some serious reservations about taking it home. I like it though, pretty slick.

Some evangelical Christians may protest for the reason given, and such a reaction would be worthy of mockery. But many more will embrace the technology as a way to further evangelize. Evangelical Christians have been markedly active in the field of linguistics, for obvious reasons, and not all of them can be slopped with tar from the same broad brush. If Paul "posts a knee-jerk response to every factoid he sees in the name of generating content" Constant were ever to look beyond the boundaries of his colorectal wall, he might realize that.

Evangelical Christians are markedly active in the field of linguistics? You mean modern linguistics, not biblical hermeneutics or something like that? Tell me more.

The catch is, every three words, it will throw up a window asking you if that's really what you wanted to say...

Ooh, a real live Mandarax!

@2 I couldn't agree with that statement more. They really need to fire their entire UI design group and start over. Win8 is going to be a total UI shitfest.
