Get some token public opinion after the plan has been decided. Sounds like Portland alright.

I wince when I see streetcar tracks in old Portland photos. *sigh*

This N Williams project has had more public input that any other. They have discussed many topics that have absolutely nothing to do with bike lanes or transportation safety.

The demographics in this area are changing. I am confident that there will be a majority supporting these decisions. Those that don't like it can move out to east Portland if they want high speed 5 lane arterials and 3ft bike lanes.

The people who live in that neighbirhood would tell you the same thing. Portland bike fascism 101.

north Portland bicyclists must all be young white assholes that want to pay low rent and too much money for dinner. they clearly hate teh blacks, don't respect diversity, and want to gentrify all night long.

@6....well sometimes, but they don't hate "teh blacks" and probably took at least one course on diversity at what ever college or art school they went too. Defensive much?

Please wait...
