Doctor Meh. If the Dr is now good at materializing the TARDIS around people, it should make stories shorter in the future. I'm OK w/ him using his sonic screwdriver for new things all the time, BUT HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD AT DRIVING THE TARDIS!!

I'M SORRY THAT THIS HAPPENED.

I enjoyed hearing Robert Webb and David Mitchell voice the robots...but even they didn't seem that into it. Lots of good talent squandered in really mediocre writing.

Regarding driving the TARDIS: it's not that the Doctor is bad at driving the TARDIS, the TARDIS just doesn't always take him where he wants to go.

Sometimes I wonder what people really expect from Doctor Who, other than fun. Mark Williams! Rupert Graves! David Bradley! What kind of nerds are you people?

I was psyched for Mitchell & Webb, and I think they did a proper good job. There was a slight disconnection between the voices and the robots, but... they were robots.

I like dinosaurs!

I thought it was a great episode. Somehow the jumble of characters and creatures and surroundings worked. I laughed more than once, and I felt the poignant moments when the genocide of the Silurians is revealed and the heartless death of the dinosaur.

It did feel a little bit like it was too much jammed into one episode, but I agree that it's nice to have some more self-contained episodes than so many story-arc ones from last season. Silliness is appropriate for Doctor Who.

I'm very happy with this season so far.

I've decided Rory's dad should be the Doctor's new companion.

I really wanted Donna's grandad to be the new companion before Matt Smith took over. Apparently Erik and I harbor a desire to see the Doctor run around with watery-eyed, easily confused old men.

Please wait...
