"The Color Run™ is a unique experience focused less on speed and more on crazy color fun" GAG.

They rented a track! Yeah they raked in mad money for this.

I would have liked to volunteer to pelt the walkers with chalk.

The website was pretty clear that this wasn't an event for hardcore-runners-who-take-themselves-entirely-too-seriously. Groups of friends could have fun together, even if all the friends aren't marathoners. Money was raised for Child Aid. If all that makes you GAG, stay away.

I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO WAIT IN THE CAR, MOM.

Kellacious, I'm pretty sure this is not a non-profit enterprise. I've skimmed some of the articles in the press section, and haven't seen any mention of non-profit status. Money was raised for a charity, yes. But what's the ratio of profit / charity? As Alex noted so well, this is mostly just an opportunity for participants to get a new profile pic.

Alex, didn't you interview anyone to find out the answer to my question about the ratio???

If only those walkers stayed to the right. Weaving through them, even at the snail's-pace that I run, was quite annoying.

To be fair, the Warrior Dash is actually hard.
