It hasn't happened enough to really result in a full on backlash against crowdsourcing projects.. but the time will come when people get sick of putting their money into Kirkstarter-like projects that never result in a return. I can think of several Kickstarted projects off the top of my head that got well over their stated goal, and never resulted in anything. Hell, some clever junkies have probably made it their personal drugfund.
And thats not even accounting for people who get pissed about what the project ends up being in its finalized form like the Amanda Palmer fiasco.
