Okay, so the full list of comedians hasn't been updated on the Bridgetown site yet but based on this press release: 23 male performers and 3 females, not including the other events.

Not sure if this says something about Bridgetown booking, the state of comedy itself, or anything at all.

Sorry to be that person.

Don't be that person UNTIL the full list is released. Then please be that person.

Can you also break down how many Jewish / Catholic / Protestant / Muslim performers are in the line up? And how many White / Hispanic / Black / Asian / Pacific Islanders / Arab performers are in the line up? And how many Straight / Gay / Bi / Poly performers are in the line up?

Because that would be relevant somehow.

By my rough count, there's 197 performers listed on their page and 41 of them are women. Which makes the lineup 79% male.
5
...Which was also the approximate percentage of men who applied to the festival.

Andy: Thanks for your huge efforts in making Bridgetown happen and helping to put Portland comedy on the map.

Glad to see locals Shane Torres and Anthony Lopez on the list. Lopez is going to blow up some day, that guy just kills.

Great lineup, indeed. Dana Gould should be considered a comedy legend, if he's not already. Truly masterful. And his podcast is really, really great and should be heard along with all the rest people love.

There are a TON of locals on the list! Sean Jordan, Xander Deveaux, Barbara Holm, Gabe Dinger, Lonnie Bruhn, Stephanie Purtle, Nathan Brannon, Tim Hammer, Whitney Streed, Virginia Jones, Stacey Hallal, Shane Torres...

I had a feeling in my gut that Reggie would make it. I first saw him at T:BA '08 and he was billed as a performance artist. He basically did choreography on a multimedia set design. Charismatic dude.

Please wait...
