Driving?? Some Portlander you are!

Erik, can you find out the name of the city planner that approved the plans for the apartment building next door? I would really like to introduce him to poopsenders.com

No planner had to approve the building, it met all city codes. I actually think they did a nice job of angling the front of the apartment building near the theater so that you can easily see the marquee etc from quite a ways down Sandy. It definitely could have been far worse and having dozens of new customers living right next door is probably going to be a really good thing for the Hollywood.

In that case, direct me to the zoning bureau. I think new construction next to historic landmarks should have to undergo more rigorous approvals. And "nice job"? Really?!?

Well, I would say the new marquee is looking so different yet beautiful.
