DROWN IN A FIRE, "WATER ACTIVISTS."
2
Just to be clear, I don't think they did a shoddy job, nor do I make any accusations of wrongdoing. I have had a very nice experience so far moving through the City's processes and City employees have been very helpful. The ballot title challenge is a very common procedure that all citizens, not just proponents/opponents, have the ability to engage in.

We didn't ask for many changes. In fact, we kept much of the language from the City Attorney's ballot title. But, there was room for improvement: getting rid of redundancies, clarifying some language, adding in the City's new duties which are very significant, and highlighting what we think are the most important features of the measure. It's not an easy job to shrink 9 pages of text into 175 words and for me, it's not a matter of the City failing miserably or something like that. We just want the trust to be portrayed in a manner that makes it clear to voters what they would be voting on should we qualify for the ballot.
