The $2.5M fine is the maximum allowed. If the commish could've fined him more, he would've.

The question now is whether Sterling agrees to sell, or whether he fights this in court for the next five years.

Sure would be nice to re-open those allegations of racially discriminating in his real estate dealings.

So what will it take for a player to be banned for life? We know racist remarks, selling and/or doing drugs and attempted murder will keep you bouncing an orange ball.
