I'm going to bungle this argument, but simply put, as far as Amazon and authors goes, they've done more to allow authors not represented by major publishing houses to publish and get their work in front of an audience than anything else since the Gutenberg press. So yeah, they're in some sort of pissing match with an antiquated gate-keeper, and yeah that antiquated gate-keeper does a really fantastic job of currating and editing their content. But I fail to see why I should embrace Paul Constant's irrational and constant hatred of Amazon because they have declined to carry or sell product from Hachette. They're not preventing Hachette from doing business in general, they're just preventing Hachette from doing business with them.
