Look personally I think once a nazi always a nazi, but this isn't just about Kruger's behavior in 1999. He publically retaliated against a subordinate who complained about very recent behavior. The city just paid out 50 grand to settle a lawsuit about his very RECENT behavior. The city should be looking into how to fire him not how to throw money at him.

So it's over now. How about maybe releasing all of the taxpayer-funded written legal advice that drove this fucked up decision?

"I'm Charlie-Goebels-Hale, and this is outrageous behavior that I don't condone (but will effectively wipe away any trace of said outrageous and illegal behavior from a permanent record, and then retroactively reimburse a person on what will ultimately be on the taxpayers dime). You know... because. Cops, man. I used to be the chief so I have a hard-on for all of 'em! Free passes for shitty, unprofessional and illegal behavior for any tin-badge-wearing choad!"

Worst. Mayor. Ever.

I sincerely hope someone knocks your fucking teeth in, Mayor Hales. You are the worst kind of politician... The kind that gives with one hand and gives us the bird with the other, while smiling nice and big for the camera.

Sieg Heil, much?

That odor you smell in the air in Portland is not from the Camas paper mill.

How is this man still a cop?

As creepy as making a shrine to any foriegn soldier seems, I'd be curious to know of the exact nature of these particular German soldiers, as not all were stone-cold Jew killers.
And, yeah - creepy - but when does a police officer lose his right to free speech?

So the city couldn't win against Kruger. And they couldn't win about the fellow officer who they just settled for $50,000 with for sexual discrimination brought on by blowing the whistle on Kruger.

Begs the question, just what is the city doing and "winning" at?

Please wait...
