What a bunch of bullshit by elected officials trying to somehow grab credit from the Department of Justice and the Judge for reforms they fought against tooth and nail. If it works, City Council wants credit; if not Hales is trying to cover his ass if his out of control police force can't present evidence that the reforms are providing the intended remedy.
