It should be mentioned that this is the third iteration of Ms. Swenson's charter amendment that's been submitted. The first was rejected by the Auditor's Office for being unconstitutional. The second was voluntarily withdrawn so it could be replaced by this current one, which will presumably now be withdrawn so it can be replaced by a fourth.

Yes, as one of the highest paid lobbyist/lawyers in the state, Mr. DiLorenzo certainly knows his stuff... It was an undersandable minor oversight, for which he can hardly faulted, that his last initiative left East Portland out of the city.
