I'm sitting here in Australia, reading this article with great interest. Is it really true, that you can smoke dope in Oregon?May be that's why the Nevada Boys came over.Anyway, one thing is for sure. You've got the better rednecks. Our's don't even have guns.Just make sure, that Foxtel,CNN and the likes are at location, when the shoot out starts.Who needs Hollywood.

I'm sorry Marius but American, far-right militia fanatics are far worse than bogans

Thanks for the link,Jack. Here in Australia arson is a major crime.Suppose,it's the same in the US.From what I've gathered, the two guys didn't refuse to go to jail.Seems, the accepted, they've done wrong. Now,who is the hero?

Guy tosses pennies to represent the amount of money his family has paid to the American public to make his family millions of dollars to illegally graze on our public lands. Fuck these freeloaders.

I've been imagining all the ironic ways the standoff at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge could end, including:

1) Local Native Americans offer the militia blankets for warmth, secretly laden with Ebola.

2) A help signal goes out to Golden and Bald Eagles around the country, who gather and attack the militia from above, a la Lord of the Rings.

Just a thought... the Feds own a lot of the land in Oregon. A lot more in Nevada.

There is still a lot of reading to do on my part on this issue. I admit that.

I do think though, "we the people" need to take the forest back at some point. As natural disasters destroy forests, climate change conditions excelerate, and more and more people move to the PNW / Cascadia.

It's something to consider. It'll be done democratically or through force. If not now, it'll happen eventually.

I'm glad you realize that you have a lot of reading to do.
You have much more than you obviously think too.

Please wait...
