Well you already ADMIT you work for a big bank. So i'm guessing your manager put you up to this. Nice try.

As far as I know, no Credit Unions received a bailout with taxpayer money. Big Banks took the money, but continue to screw the little guy, that's why people hate them.
3
yeah, what they said!

Where I put my money, they didn't have to be bailed out. Sure, you're a person, that has to put a roof over you and your families head. Does that help you sleep better at night?
5
Credit unions tax exempt? You bet.

Fair points--much like we're grateful the rest of the world knows our government is not our citizenry, so too are the bulk of employees not the executives who made terribly unethical decisions and engaged in illegal practices.

But, the big banks, the 5 or so biggest, are and have been the biggest threat to our democracy for decades now. Nobody really begrudges the wealthy--even the ridiculously wealthy--their success. The problem we have is that they're not winning, they're cheating.
7
Can anyone here recommend local credit unions? That's what we should be talking about. Show the people there are options.
8
It's just this simple: you work for the bank, you are part of the problem. You patronize the bank, you are part of the problem. Be part of the solution instead.
9
I hope that no one scolding this person works for a big corporation, or would be willing to if offered a job by one.

merc merc, I recommend Advantis. Their checking account pays the best rate I've found, and they reimburse up to $25/month in ATM fees charged by other banks' ATMs.
