I think this has less to do with a 'dog owner' and more with a horrific human being. Leave the poor dog out of it.

I can't wait for the commenter who tries to spin this as the heroic dog owner standing up to the Passive Aggressive Portlander, who should have just kicked the guy's ass in lieu of yelling at him, according to whatever Internet Tough Guy ends up writing it.

Can we please take animals away from homeless people? There, I said it......

Not sure how to make my proposal legal -- somebody else can worry about those minor details (i.e., the Constitution, due process, etc., etc.).

It's a free country (for now), so do what you please, but I personnally don't like being owned by anyone; especially a dog. If you haven't figured it out by now it's probably over your head, but humans don't own dogs - the dogs own them... slaves.
