This is sweet and all, but here are some tips for fair weather cyclists:
1. Don't bike on Grand or MLK. Or 39th. Or any other obviously too busy street.
2. Learn to properly cross or else avoid street car tracks.

There are many situations where you have to bike on MLK or Grand, number one being to get over I-84. There are no other routes within 10 blocks, so it is unreasonable to expect cyclists to avoid this area. That said, north and south of I-84, there are safer routes nearby.

10 blocks = unreasonable? Like I said, fair weather cyclists. Get in shape.
