Maybe you should go to the doctor; to see about getting on some medication to slow down your thoughts enough for you to function better in your life?
I have a cousin that had a similar problem like yourself; she's been on some medication for the last two years; her thoughts are way less skattered; she's way more confident in herself and she's learned Finnish in only a few years! She's become absolutely more amazing since she got on the medication and she says she is so much happier.
yeah -- curiousity, thinking things out, wondering, considering multiple solutions to particular problems, day-dreaming, using your imagination, learning and moving on -- all of those things are undesirable and should be pushed out by drugs.
take some bullshit a.d.h.d. drug, stop reading, buy a video game system, and start listening to katy perry and chris brown -- you'll be cured.
then you'll be in the 99%.
(don't be fooled: no matter what you've heard all your life: ignorance IS bliss.)
If there is a health (mental or otherwise) issue in your life that is causing you this much stress, I absolutely suggest going to see a doctor about it. And don't put it off, just go.
You've come to the right place for help, this is a caring community of highly stable individuals. Or a caring stable of highly individuals. Or a high chair covered with milk and Lucky Charms marshmallows.
You need some Weed. I have the same problem you do and I swear to you it has cured me. I can focus on menial tasks that would otherwise be washed under the bridge of an overactive mind. It can be crippling. Smoke just a little hemp when you start to feel anxious and it will help bring your world back in to focus. Just a little, though. It is not about becoming a stoner, it's about helping yourself. It is very easy to get caught up in opposite extremes but you have to maintain some mental strength and not fall off. Good Luck!

Something to look into at least?
