I too have felt the wrath of Humpy's (always Humpy's fault) internet policies. I was once a lurker who would pleasantly comment on posts without having to register an account, until one day, upon arriving to my favorite lurking spot, I found I had to register an account just to comment! So I did..thanks a frickin lot Humpy. :'(. So while to most people this rant may seem like insane gibberish, to me and anon it signifies the deep pain that that this blog has caused us.

I wasnt able to create an account and post from my PC. But it works on my mobile so maybe give that a try :/

Since the revamp I've had to log in at the top of the page first and then I can comment on various posts. Typing a comment and then logging in at the comment pop-up doesn't work. This is on my laptop, on my iPhone everything works OK. Try logging in at the top of the page first and *then* clicking around and commenting.

I agree, of course, that everything is WSH's fault.

Ok, let me just go ON RECORD as saying that i've made my grievances crystal clear regarding *unregistered comments... for months! So this goes without saying, but i'm very pleased that the Merc. staff finally took my concerns into account when they came up with this new system. FINALLY, lurking cowards can no-longer post their little chicken-shit hit n' run comments without having a formal account!

I have no idea what anyone is on about. I am able to write a comment first, and then log in; my comment then appears in seconds. Does it have anything to do with browser settings, maybe?
