Okay.

I've never understood people that are so personally affected by what others do with their time. Some dude likes to ride a tall unicycle, and you can't stand to be within a few hundred miles of him? I just don't see why. It must be exhausting to care that much about what others do with their time.

I used to dislike tall bikes for the obvious cry for attention they are, but now I just don't care enough to invest the emotion. Unless the dude is trying to get me to help him from tipping over at a stop light when he doesn't feel like dismounting.

Also: There have always been tall unicycles. Always.

Now if only the rest of the Californians would do the same.

Yes. Yes it is. Can we give you directions, or can you find I-5 South by yourself?

theres no mentioning of broken storefront windows, hmmm.

Jake: Nobody said Californians "ruined" anything. You introduced that word to this conversation. Guilty conscience?

Why ride on Belmont when there are perfectly good bike routes to the north and south of this road?! Irresponsible uni-cyclists really get my goat! I bet they weren't even wearing a helmet, pffft! Really though, these sorts of things are tremendously easy to ignore if they bother you that much, no real point in moving away because of it. Also, there are probably tons of folks in this city that appreciate how quirky and fun that is. Yay Portland!

Goddamn creative class and their unicycles. We didn't have to deal with this horseshit when I moved here from Jersey in 1975.

Let's just hope that California never manages to steal our tall-unicycle technology.

Dude will go back to LA and he'll be riding a tall unicycle there. Mark my words.

@jake: You are from the ocean of the southeast coast of Madagascar? Perhaps a pirate ship? or an uncharted island?

I'm surprised your first few hundred interactions with the locals didn't give you that cue. Guess I need to step up my game.

Please wait...
