So, be a man and go write a passive agressive rant on a website?
2
The women who use the leash as a noose for their dog also do this a lot on NW 23rd/21st too, very common sight

Dog issue aside, it always confuses me why people who hate the Pearl are so often IN THE PEARL.
4
I'm not sure it's hating the Pearl so much as hating shitty pet owners.

Ever raise a puppy? I doubt it. If you let 'em sniff everything they want, you won't be going far. Dogs are pack animals and it's up to the owner to be the pack leader-- the dog follows you, not the other way around. I'm all for pampering animals like they're small humans or whatever, pretending they're ultra-inteligent 'n shit, but when it's time to EXERCISE THE DOG, hey, motherfucker's gonna get corrected. I'm not talking about being cruel, just not letting your high-energy animal call the shots.

"It's always those aggro, bitchy, yoga pant wearing blondes who are violently yanking and tossing their dogs around."

Ok, that's a pretty good image. I think I'll be walkin around the Pearl more often.

Darrrg: Well, I can't stand the Pearl, but my work often takes me there, so...That's how that sort of thing happens.

Christ, it's posts like these that make me nostalgic for 30 years ago when the Pearl District was just a neighborhood of run-down light industrial properties and derelict warehouses that I would never ever visit or even think about... Ah, those were the days!

I just spent $128 bucks getting my dogs stomach pumped because she ate a rat on one of our walks. I am planning on yanking the leash in the near future.

Arg - I agree to a point. I'm a female and a dog owner and when I see this, from a male or female owner, it breaks my heart. You can be a dominant leader to your tiny dog w/o pulling it off the ground. Remember, this is your dog's walk - let them exercise their bodies and mind. They're probably trapped inside all day.

Move to NoPo. Up here it's trailer trash kicking their pit bulls.

Please wait...
