What about you, you can't even count wingdings properly.
2
I don't think I have ever seen a fixed gear cargo bike with a kid in it...
3
Nope, haven't seen them. Unless you are confusing those "ramshackle wooden crates" with built-like-a-tank Joe Boxbikes?

Just obey the rules of the road, don't play with your phone while driving/riding and everything will be fine (even that cargo box bike full of kids).

I assume I,A's talking about the boxbikes. If I had a kid, I'd prefer it play on wet monkey bars than ride in one of those.
5
Yes, because no child has ever died whilst riding in an automobile.
6
I think it's ridiculous and dangerous as shit when I see a child hitched to the back of a bicycle. A helmet won't protect your child from a 1-2 ton car or SUV.
Proclaiming that it is just as safe as driving or even walking is bullshit.

It's called having common sense and these parents are severely lacking. I call them baby death traps whenever I see them.

Put the needs of your child above bicycle culture, seriously.

These are the same people that used their children as human shields against the cops during the Occupy protests. Then again, a milk crate was good enough for E.T.
8
I actually have seen this. It is known as Darwinism. I think we all know the outcome.

How many kids die in car crashes? Hmm? And in those crashes they aren't even WEARING helmets! Don't mistake your fear of bicycling as the truth about risks.

If you are so concerned about children's safety whilst bicycling, perhaps you should support safer road conditions--lower speed limits, traffic calming devices, keeping large trucks out of city centers, etc.

OR, protect your child from traffic by never taking it out of the house!

Please wait...
