It's weird how people act so helpless in this life. Sometimes I think people enjoy playing the victim a little too much as it allows them to feel superior to the situation they willingly allow themselves to exist in.

The economy isn't *that* bad anymore. There are lots of jobs out there and if you're as hardworking and skilled as you seem to be indicating then finding one of those jobs shouldn't be too hard. And if it is, maybe accept that the field you've chosen just isn't for you. The great thing about life is it's never too late to learn a new trade, to further your education, to do something - anything - to make your life happier.

I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

Do something to get yourself fired. Like cry at your desk, and start sobbing. Make yourself look innocent, but annoy people with picking your nose,farting etc.
