I see you don't normally ride trimet.... hope it was worth the novelty.
5
The definition of insanity...

Repeatedly riding Trimet and expecting anything good to come of it.
6
Traffic problems do occur when you're driving, too. But at least you feel in control.

Hey, but at least there might be ANOTHER monthly "Street Fee" tax here for us residents so PBOT can pay for road maintenance costs AND to subsidize Trimet. Get ready to pay more for less...AGAIN!

My first ride on Trimet will be next week. I have mixed emotions, and plan to not be afraid. All the stories have made me stressed, and I know the night before this excursion I will not sleep. It is a test of my tolerance ,and see what everyone is talking about on this site.

It has been nice commenting with you, if I don't make it back.

Someone should bill Tri-met for all the wasted man hours their bullshit policies create. Delaying multiple trains to deal with 1 drunk that's bullshit. Toss him off or just give him a push out the door, Drunks got shit for balance, and then get the train moving.

Again, Oregonian's lack the ability to problem solve due to th lack of sunlight and 150yrs of geaographic isolation. Anytime one little thing goes wrong in traffic, it spreads like a cancer and shuts down the entire area. And there are no two ways to any one destination in town. Miss a turn? Go back home and start over.

Huh, guess I must just have great luck, to have regularly ridden Tri-met (both the bus and MAX) for years with very few problems. Typically far fewer than when I have commuted via automobile.

But I suppose it's true what they say; we tend not to notice when things go RIGHT to the extent we do when they go sideways.

Please wait...
