Sounds like the driver was attempting to parallel park and the bus got too close - or close enough to make it difficult to do. Sometimes it can be difficult to read if the car in front of you intends to turn right - or they have the blinker on to indicate that they will back into a space - but you should be able to tell the difference, especially for a professional driver of a tri-met bus.
This sounds to me like the bus-driver fucked up. The rest of the opinions and fantasizing of the author is just drivel.

He left a bus full of people to complain that a man parked in front of him and maneuvered closely to his bus in a normal driving situation. Where the fuck is the security from?
