I try not to judge the value of any individual's life. Though I make an exception for that one guy who's always picking the dead skin off his feet while riding the 14. When I finally buy a car, it's gonna be that guy's fault.

It's not easy to show compassion in a society that engenders indifference, discrimination, and unethical behavior.
It's also difficult to ignore apathy, laziness, and ignorance in a society that preaches equality, perseverance, and determination.
The difference is you felt ashamed and realized others could make the same argument about you or anyone else.
