This morning we've got a brand new Pickathon video to show for you as part of our ongoing Starlight Stage series, filmed during the wee small hours at the Pickathon festival just outside Portland. Today's installment features a performance by King Tuff from last summer's fest, and it's a stripped-down take of "Black Moon Spell" with Tuff tearing it up on lead against accompaniment by acoustic guitar and fog machine. (Apparently a member of Tuff's backing band was felled by food poisoning just before their performing slot, resulting in this impromptu intimate shredfest.) Take a look!

We've got past episodes of the Starlight Stage series—brought to you by New Belgium Brewing—here, here, and here, and tickets for this year's festival are on sale at the Pickathon website. More pressingly, though, two of this year's performers—the great Adia Victoria and Blossom—are performing tomorrow night at Bunk Bar (all the info on that show is right here). There's no better way to get into the Pickathon swing of things to kick off your weekend.
