So I thought that this week/weekend was generally going to be void of any fashion related events, but Yeezy shot that to shit when he announced his worldwide Life of Pablo pop-up shop tour. This tour is literally the definition of a pop-up shop, because the exact locations have been announced mere hours before they open, and as I am writing this at 10:30 pm on Thursday the Portland location has just been announced...and it's at fucking Clackamas Town Center. Anywhoo, Ciara Dolan wrote up a great synopsis yesterday of the whole damn thing that you can read here ICYMI. Good luck with the traffic and the crowds, suckers. (And you might want to hurry? In some locations people are already in line.)

Now for some news:

Sarah Donofrio

The new cast of Project Runway was announced last week, and lo and behold there is a Portlander in there...sort of. Sarah Donofrio originally hails from Toronto and went to design school there, and I had not heard of her before this cast was announced. I am pretty confident in my knowledge of the designers and shops that reside in Portland, so this makes me think she has not been here long, or has purposefully been laying super low, like R. Kelly low. She does, however, have something in common with Kanye in that she is hosting her own pop-up shop at 3334 SE Belmont, formerly Belmont Records (RIP.) It opened on August 15th and has no end date or shop hours posted, so I would maybe check it out this weekend between 11 am and 6 pm, which are usual boutique hours. Like I said I don't know much about her, except what I have read on her Project Runway bio, but her website is pro, and when looking at pieces from her latest collection I can definitely see the average stylish Portland girl walking down the street in them, so we should keep an eye on her. The new season of Project Runway begins on September 15th on Lifetime.

And we'll end things with some eye candy. KOZHA NUMBERS, a Portland based accessories company that "reflects inspiration from architecture, materials, and form" and manufactures all of their products in the United States just wrapped up their latest lookbook and it's truly amazing. Aside from red being my favorite color this lookbook highlights their bags in the most sincerely flattering way, and will instantly make anyone who views it covet these classic, minimalist bags that will literally pair nicely with anything. Here are a few of my favorite photos shot by Evie Lane Photography.
