Teachers can only mark students as tardy or absent, and have a legal obligation to mark students who are not in class as absent. The school can mark an absence as excused for a known organized field trip, sporting event, or testing. Parents must excuse any other absences.

IF these "walk outs" are in any way condoned, supported or encouraged by a teach/school administrator and one of these children gets hurt OFF school ground, those teachers/administrators will be held PERSONALLY responsible for any and all medical cost or any and all property damage. The school's insurance will not cover or defend!
