Yeah, we're really going to stick it to all those Columbia store employees who want a safe workplace where they don't have to be intimidated and pick up glass from their broken car windows when they come and go to work every day. Super righteous. We need to sit down in these nine blocks of the city. There is nowhere else to sit. By the way, Donald Trump is still President. But let's fight the battle here. Starting with Columbia.

They could hand out blankets, hand out water bottles, hand out food, do needle exchanges, clean up some of the trash the homeless have dumped all over our city, volunteer with a non-profit to help build more shelter space, do outreach to help get people connected with services, or literally anything at all that might actually be useful to the homeless people they purport to care about.

Instead, they're going to waste hours of time, get in people's way who are just trying to go about their daily lives, and not accomplish a goddamn thing after which they will no doubt pat each other on the back and celebrate their "victory" over beers, while the homeless and hungry continue to be homeless and hungry.

Please wait...
