Victory to the Burgerville Workers' Union. If ANYBODY needs union representation, it's the wage slaves at fast food chains. The chains can afford it and it's worth paying a few cents more on a burger so that the people who make it for you are treated like human beings.
i think i can guess why they are stalling. automation in the fast food business has advanced in the last few years to the point where it can reliably replace people. i wish the employees the best, but there is a significant probability that if they strike they'll be replaced with robots.
#2: except that robots will screw up everybody's order. And are we really sure they wouldn't become sentient and then serve the robot apocalypse with a side of fries.
