Good Morning Portland! It's going to warm up a bit today (it might still rain), but Wednesday we'll be getting up in the 70s again. This is going to be me by the weekend:

Anyway, let's get to the news!

Time's Up, a movement than sprang out of the #MeToo hashtag, has set its sights on (alleged) serial child-rapist R. Kelly. Activists are asking Spotify, Apple Music, and RCA Records (Kelly's label) to stop working with him in protest of his horrible criminal behavior. In case you've forgotten some of the stuff he did to people over the years, here's a concise timeline of his sexual misconduct allegations going back to his marriage to 15-year-old Aaliyah in 1994.

NYT got a big tip yesterday: Mueller has four dozen pointed questions for the prez. The questions cover his behavior with James Comey, the decision. They're primarily focused on obstruction of justice, but he also has some questions regarding campaign collaboration with Russia. You can read the questions here.

Another one bites the dust: Trump's ICE guy, Thomas Homan, has stepped down from his post. He's best known for creating a 40 percent spike in immigration arrests and telling immigrants they should be afraid (what an asshole). Over 35 officials in the Trump administration have left office. Bye bye!

In a huge surprise to fans of trickle down economics and pretty much no one else, the investment boom promised by the Cheetoh Administration after that massive tax cut has failed to materialize. Republicans said the cuts would be jet fuel for the economy and would help provide jobs, but I think we know who really got those benefits. These guys:

Scientists in China are trying to figure out if the farming techniques of your ancestors affect your behavior in modern society. Turns out, wheat farmers are individualists, while rice farmers go with the flow.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu gave a presentation on the nuclear threat posed by Iran yesterday. The stolen files contained evidence of Iran's prior work on a nuclear program, but no evidence that Iran has broken the Iran Nuclear Deal. Some believe the presentation was directed at Trump and meant to give him reason to break the deal.

Russia is shipping a nuclear power plant out to the arctic. Greenpeace is calling the idea "Chernobyl on ice," which is the worst Disney on Ice performance I've ever heard of.

Here in Oregon: Yay, we can go hiking again! Some of the trails closed by the Eagle Creek Fire are set to reopen this summer.

Mayor Ted Wheeler's budget proposal is out as of yesterday, and he's narrowed down his cop request from 93 additional officers to 58. There's also a 10 percent increase to homeless services earmarked for permanent housing. The entire budget will cost about $4 billion.

Nike is sexist, and thanks to women whistleblowers in the company, problematic executives are departing from the company.

Uber and Lyft drivers rallied yesterday to push city hall into helping them resolve labor disputes. Commissioner Nick Fish proposed a wages board to address those concerns, and it will be voted on at a hearing later in May.

Metro is considering a massive $516.5 million affordable housing bond to refer to voters come November.

Here's my recommendation for the week: If you haven't seen the new Avengers movie yet, GO SEE IT! Even if you've never watched Marvel before, it's a fun and wild ride.

If you're more of an indie flick kind of person, try The Endless. It spooked my socks off and I loved every minute of it.

That's all folks! Enjoy your Tuesday.
