Here's a fun reminder:
TOMORROW IS ELECTION DAY! Here's who we suggest you vote for! Now drop 'em off at any of these drop-off locations.

Shake Up: Employees at the Gladstone Burgerville voted to unionize over the weekend, a vote that forces Burgerville management to (finally) recognize their union. Their shop is the second that's had to hold a vote—and probably won't be the last.

Budget Countdown: On Wednesday, the Portland City Council will vote on Mayor Ted Wheeler's proposed 2018-2019 city budget. With demands to increase the number of sworn police officers and slash programs for Portland Public School students (among others), this budget remains particularly contentious among members of the public. Here were some of the concerns raised during the city's final public hearing on the budget last week.

Schooled: The results of a Portland Public School records request lawsuit against Portland Tribune reporter Beth Slovic and a PPS parent are in, and PPS has lost. That means PPS officials must release records disclosing the name and duration of all employees placed on paid administrative leave, information PPS attempted to keep private.

This is America: The White House decision to move a US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem has left at least 41 protesting Palestinians dead and injured more than 1,700 at the hands of the Israeli military—the bloodiest day in Gaza since the 2014 war.

SPORTS! MONEY! FREEDOM! The US Supreme Court has struck down a 1992 federal law that prohibited commercial sports betting, and New Jersey couldn't be more pleased.

Paris Attack: A 20-year-old man with ties to the Islamic State stabbed five people in a busy Paris neighborhood Saturday night, killing one. According to French officials, the man was already on the country's terrorist watch list.

Before you start the week, be sure to heed the words of Black Panther (actor and Howard University alumn Chadwick Boseman) at Wakanda University this weekend:
