Good morning, Portland. Here's some news to start your Thursday:

Freedom of Tweet: A federal court has ruled that Prez Trump violates the First Amendment whenever he blocks someone on Twitter.

Musk Meltdown: Elon Musk didn't like when the Center for Investigative Reporting revealed the dangerous working conditions and union-busting tactics inside Tesla factories. So, he pulled a Trump and took it out on journalism. During a Twitter tantrum, Musk said he wants create a Yelp-style rating site for journalists. (Here's the worst part: GRIMES AGREES)

Meanwhile, on Righteous Twitter: Hundreds of Irish citizens living abroad are flying home to vote in Friday's historic election that could overturn the country's draconian anti-abortion amendment. Many are documenting their trips via Twitter with the #HomeToVote tag.

Whatever the Opposite of 'Empty Nesting' is, This is That: A judge has ruled in favor of a Syracuse couple, legally forcing their 30-year-old son to move out of their home. After giving him rent money for a new place. And offering to help him find a job. MILLENNIALS, AMIRIGHT.

Dank Kush: Jared Kushner has been granted permanent FBI security clearance after his was downgraded in February. Go Russia!

Dear Leader: In an act of subservience to the Trump regime, NFL owners have unanimously decided that NFL players will be fined for kneeling on the field during the national anthem. Instead, players can remain in the locker room if they don't want to participate. My suggestion: players take their retirement benefits and bounce.

Not Shocking: The Milwaukee (Wisconsin, if you forgot how to spell Oregon's) chief of police has denounced his officers' use of force against NBA player Sterling Brown. Brown was hit with a stun gun multiple times after police confronted him for parking in a handicap zone. It's doubtful Brown would get this kind of public apology if the sobering encounter wasn't caught on an officer's body camera.

A Toast for Reparations: Portland activist and one-time mayoral candidate Cameron Whitten has kicked off his Reparations Happy Hour project this week. It's exactly what it sounds like: White folks repaying black folks the centuries of oppression and abuse (in $10 increments).

MAX Violence on the Rise: Despite its efforts to ramp up security after the 2017 MAX stabbing, TriMet reported more violent acts on the MAX in 2017 than any year since TriMet began recording this data in 2008.

Cheer Up, Kid: Instead of gloomily gazing out your office window at gray skies, read the Mercury's Summer Guide! Read about Oaks Park's new rollercoaster, the city's best bar patios, how not to be a creep on the nude beach, and more!

Tiny but Important News of the Day: Portland's smallest parks gets its own wee park sign:
