The man who allegedly drove his car onto the sidewalk by Portland State University, seriously injuring three women, has plead not guilty on all nine criminal charges against him.

Greg Porter, 61, was arrested the afternoon of May 25, a few hours after the incident took place. He was found in a blue 2005 Mazda Tribute with a crumpled hood, which matched descriptions of the car that hit pedestrians in the gruesome attack. According to witnesses, Porter allegedly drove the car onto a sidewalk near 6th and Montgomery going around 40 MPH, hit the three pedestrians, and drove off.

This morning, Porter pled not guilty to three counts each attempted aggravated murder, first-degree assault, reckless driving, and failure to perform duties of a driver to injured persons.

The court ordered Porter to not seek contact with any of the victims: Hannah Cline, Sabrina Vuscan, and Fadra Regis. According to the Oregonian, Cline remains hospitalized following surgery, while the other two have been released.

Porter had previously been charged with larceny and a DUI in Texas when he was 19, according to court records, but doesn't have a significant criminal record in Oregon.

Porter's trial is set to begin August 16.
