The only sad thing about it being Pickathon week is that it also means we've reached the end of our 2017-2018 Starlight Series, in which we post video highlights from last year's fest. So here it is, the very last episode of the season, featuring Tuvan band Huun-Huur-Tu in their second appearance in the series (the first was back in December). The ensemble makes use of traditional and modern instruments for this mournful track, a folk song remembering the Turkic state of Kongurei.

But there's little reason to mourn this week, since Pickathon 2018 kicks off on Thursday with early entry for certain ticket holders, and regular entry starting on Friday at noon. If you're not going this year, don't despair—you'll be pleased to learn about the Pickathon livestream, the schedule for which was announced this morning. The livestream begins at noon on Friday and runs through Monday at 7 pm with special encore performances. Take a look below for all of the bands and times, which you'll be able to watch from the comfort of your couch.
