Inequity Alert: Oregon's Equal Pay Act goes into effect on January 1. What does that mean?

What's That? The owners behind Gold Dust Meridian and the Lay Low Tavern are poised to purchase the The Vern on SE Belmont, saving it from certain demise?

Longread of the Day: The capitol of the country is also the capitol of a long-ignored community dying from the opioid epidemic: African Americans.
