Have you caught Blazers Fever yet? The Blazers return to the Moda Center tonight for game three of their best of seven series versus the Denver Nuggets, and this city is getting ready to pop off. The series is tied 1-1, with momentum swinging Portland's way after a big victory on Denver's home court Wednesday night. You guys, the Blazers haven't made this kind of a run since the 1999-2000 season! Sure, they've made it to the second round since then, but everyone knew they were doomed. Not so this time!

If they beat this Denver Nuggets team—a distinct possibility—the Blazers will be headed to the Western Conference finals. This is a big deal and should it happen, the excitement will permeate most aspects of Portland life. Your barista will have an extra skip in their step. Strangers will hold doors open for you and smile in silly ways. Bars will put up funny signs and cars will be decorated. Crazy shit! Have you seen this video of Portland fans reacting to Damian Lillard's now legendary series ending game winner versus OKC? Give it a look:

Tonight's game tips off at 7:30 pm and it's a guarantee that the Moda Center will be rocking. It will be the first game back home after that thrilling game five close out win against the Thunder and fans will be looking to propel this team into history. There is so much to love about the Trailblazers right now. These small-market underdogs have defied the odds time and time again this season. Will beloved and injured Center Jusuf Nurkic show up again? Will replacement Enes Kanter be playing with extra fire after the much publicized slights from Denver fans during the last game?

Portland will have its hands full trying to contain Denver's star player, the seven foot tall wonder Nikola Jokic. One of Portland's best defenders, Mo Harlkless, is listed as questionable after spraining his ankle in Denver. Look for bench reserves Jake Layman and Rodney Hood to work hard to fill his shoes. Damian Lillard had an uncharacteristically quiet game on Wednesday, but the Blazers still pulled out a win, with CJ McCollum, Kanter, and Hood all stepping up to fill the void. Second year center Zach Collins has also been having a good series.
