Little Green Eyes
Pickathon is less than three months away, which means summer is well and truly just around the corner. To help you stave off your unbearable anticipation, here's another video from our Pickathon Starlight Series, in which we showcase some of the great performances from last year's Pickathon that took place on the intimate Starlight Stage during the wee hours of the Portland-area festival.

Today's video comes from Alela Diane, the Portland-based songwriter whose exquisite Cusp album from 2018 dealt with motherhood, womanhood, and living as an artist in ways that rarely get addressed publicly. One of Cusp's highlights, "Moves Us Blind," is performed here with Heather Woods Broderick on piano and Mirabai Peart on percussion. It's a moving and memorable performance, conveying an undeniably strong emotional undercurrent beneath the song's gentle exterior.

With 2019's incarnation of the festival approaching swiftly, you'll want to head over to the Pickathon site and get your tickets before it's too late. They've got the full daily schedule posted, so ticket holders can start planning their perfect weekend now.
