You've got a lot of stuff you can watch this weekend! Some of it's great! Some of it's awful!

Ned Lannamann says Men in Black: International is... well, it's generally not a great sign when a review begins, "Well, somebody must’ve wanted this."

In better news, the great Jim Jarmusch is back with the deadpan zombie comedy The Dead Don't Die, which I thought was a ton of fun, and that's coming from somebody who's really fucking tired of zombie stuff.

Get ready to wince! Wm. Steven Humphrey says Shaft is "a master class in toxic masculinity and shitty movie-making."

The Hollywood Theatre has a bunch of stuff on 70mm this weekend: West Side Story, The Untouchables, and Lifeforce! Three of those are worth seeing! Look at all these cool guys!!!

Also at the Hollywood, a Black Filmmaker Fellowship Screening will boast new work and filmmaker Q&As. At the Northwest Film Center's Whitsell Auditorium, the annual Portland Jewish Film Festival begins, and the Academy Theater has The Thing and Singin' in the Rain.

And on TV, Nicolas Winding Refn hits Amazon Prime Video with Too Old to Die Young. Ned, the Mercury's trusty TV editor, will have more on that later today—until then, he says, "Of the two episodes I saw, there's a pretty solid 30-or-so-minute stretch in one of them. But the rest is just incredibly slow, like 40 seconds of dialogue stretched out to four minutes with long, pointless pauses, or a guy creepily spraying a naked woman with a hose for like seven minutes." Wow! First Only God Forgives, then The Neon Demon, and now this? Refn's hot streak continues!
