I fail to understand what people like this believe is going to happen if they get what they want. I mean if they want to get sick and die why not just do it and leave the rest of us who want to live alone? Line up and give your life, because that's what you will be doing anyway (and taking other people with you).

I wonder why the Oregonian sent several reporters to cover this demonstration when they could have just done what the Mercury did, which was to paraphrase someone else's reporting and grab a few pics from twitter.

@2 -- Covid, jr?
your sociopathy
is just as welcome
here as it is in Seattle

@3 maybe the Oregonian still has a staff?

6

Sure, I suppose the Mercury could try that --as a last resort.

Joey Gibson: Not an Oregonian.

Joey Gibson: has he actually worked? Ever? Failed real estate flipper turned right-wing political grifter? That ain't workin' -- that's the way to do it -- tie up publicly funded police/fire/medical personnel with the stupid Rallies of the Stupid for your own personal gain.

“I think the answer is this: for everyone who wants to get out there right now with no mask or gloves, distancing or testing to help beat this thing, then I propose they sign a pandemic version of a DNR — Do Not Resuscitate order.

This would be a COVID-19 DNT — Do Not Treat order. This way, your willful ignorance (or greed) does not put a health care worker, first responder, or their families at risk. Print it, sign it, put it in your wallet and tape it to your front door.

If the impatient, hoax believing, don't stomp my freedom, selfish brats out there want to go do their thing during a dangerous crisis, then do it with the expectation that if you get sick, no one else has to pay the price for your irresponsible behavior. “

The 'party of Personal Responsibliity'
I hear they like to be called.

They talk the talk.
Do they walk The Walk?
